Flashing around Chimney
There always must be care take around the chimney otherwise there can be leakage that can show up months later.
Special materials called "Grace"
This flashing is used in an area where ice and water can get trapped. These traps can create Ice Dams that cause leakages into the home. Notice that the Grace material is run up the vertical wall.

Ventilation Applications
Notice the open strip at the peak of the roof for ventilation. This is an important item for any home.
The shingles are butted up to the gap in the peak of the roof and the gap is left open.
There is a plastic top cap that is placed over the gap that will permit air flow. The shingle is attached to this top cap.

Repair Applications
